ShotPlotConsumer Health Data Privacy Policy
The short version
ShotPlot keeps everything you enter — medications, doses, injection sites, reactions — on your phone. Gux Digital does not collect, receive, store, share or sell consumer health data. There are no accounts and no servers that hold your records, and nothing in the app sends them anywhere. The only way your records leave your phone is when you export them yourself.
Categories of consumer health data we collect
None. The app stores the information you type in a database on your device. That information never reaches Gux Digital. We cannot see it, and we have no copy of it.
Purposes for which consumer health data is collected and used
Not applicable — we collect none. On your phone, the app uses your entries only to do what you ask of it: show your log and body map, suggest a site, schedule reminders, count stock, and build the exports and report you request. That processing happens entirely on the device.
Sources from which consumer health data is collected
Not applicable — nothing reaches us. On your phone, the app has two sources, both under your control: what you type into it, and, only if you switch it on, body-weight readings read from Apple Health or Health Connect (a permission for weight and nothing else; a separate switch lets the app write your typed weigh-ins back there). Both stay on the device.
Categories of consumer health data we share
None. We do not share consumer health data with anyone, for any purpose.
Third parties and affiliates with whom we share consumer health data
None. No affiliates, no service providers, no advertising or analytics companies, no processors.
Two clarifications, because the words matter:
- Exports you make. When you choose Export backup, Export CSV or Doctor-visit report, the app creates a file on your phone and hands it to your phone's share sheet. The app or service you pick (email, cloud storage, messaging, AirDrop) receives that file at your direction, under its own terms. That is you sharing your records, not us.
- Health import. If you turn it on, ShotPlot reads weight from Apple Health or Health Connect into its own database on the phone. That is your phone's health store giving data to an app you chose, on the device; nothing is sent onward.
- Purchases. ShotPlot Plus is bought through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google process the payment under their own terms and know that you bought an in-app purchase in ShotPlot; they do not receive anything you entered in the app, and neither do we.
Sale of consumer health data
We do not sell consumer health data, and we never will. We do not use it for advertising.
Your rights, and how to exercise them
Washington, Nevada and some other states give consumers the right to confirm whether a regulated entity is collecting, sharing or selling their consumer health data, to access it, to have it deleted, and to withdraw consent. Because Gux Digital holds no consumer health data about you, there is nothing for us to confirm, provide or delete on our side: every answer is "none". Your records are on your phone, where you control them completely:
- To see or correct your data, open the app.
- To delete some of it, delete the entries in the app.
- To delete all of it, use Settings → Erase all data, or delete the app.
If you still want to make a request, or to appeal our response to one, email hello@shotplot.io with "Health data request" in the subject. We answer within 45 days (the period Washington's law allows), and we will not discriminate against you for asking.
Changes
If ShotPlot ever offers an optional feature that moves health data off the phone — for example a sync service — we will update this page before that feature ships, describe exactly what would be collected and why, and ask for your consent separately in the app. On-device-only remains the default.
